The Aikido University Workshop is back!

This year instructors from local Colorado dojos and Aikido clubs will teach all sessions to encourage student participation.

This lineup of instructors includes Randy Thompson of Boulder Ki Aikido, Ryan Abo of Denver Buddhist Temple Aikido, and Geneviève Morrison from the Colorado School of Mines Aikido Club.

Each instructor has a distinct approach and lineage, making for an exciting training opportunity!

Train under great teachers and help accomplish three main goals:

Bringing the community together – We have a common passion for aikido. It’s a great joy to be able to share it with people who are outside our usual training group.

An event that is accessible to students – By making the event free for and tailored to university students, we encourage the next generation of aikidoka!

Social good – People who practice aikido tend to be socially conscious. This event allows them to come together around this intention. Part of the proceeds from this event will go to an Earth-supportive non-profit.

In Honor of Earth Day

This year part of the proceeds will go to a local environmental non-profit with a global impact, WILD.

Since 1974, WILD has put respect for nature at the center of the global leadership community and simultaneously stewarded coordinated action for the protection of Earth’s life-giving biodiversity.

Students: FREE! Please bring student ID.

Non-Students: EARLY BIRD RATES until APRIL 12, 2024!

$25–45 sliding scale

$30–$60 THEREAFTER.

Choose the rate that fits your budget! Please consider contributing a little extra to help subsidize student attendance.

Proceeds subsidize student fees, fund an Earth-friendly non-profit, help us to put on events like this in the future, and support the host dojo.

Spectators welcome!
