Forget perfect poses or impressive flexibility—this isn’t that kind of practice.
Instead, you’re gently invited to tune in to something wiser and more effortless: the quiet intelligence of your bones, the spacious play of your joints, the soft pull of gravity, and the natural, living wisdom woven through your spine.
When you meet your body this way, something beautiful opens—lightness begins to rise, space breathes inside you, and a deep, natural ease quietly arrives.
You’re welcome here, exactly as you are.

Many people believe the practice of yoga is only available to those who are flexible, while others who have been practicing for a while feel a need for yoga that moves at their pace.
At the Yoga for Every Body workshop, no prior yoga experience is needed to attend. Simply bring your curiosity about waking up the intelligence of your own body.
If you are looking for a slower, more intentional way of practicing yoga in your life, then this workshop is for you. Beginners Welcome!
Why Scaravelli-Lineage Yoga is for Every Body
The practice of Scaravelli-lineage yoga is not about performing poses nor about needing flexibility. With attention to the bones, joints, gravity, and the natural intelligence of the spine, you’re invited to feel lightness, spaciousness, and ease.
The Yoga lineage of Vanda Scaravelli is a deep, slow, and playful approach to yoga rooted by her time with B.K.S. Iyengar and T.K.V. Desikachar, as well as by her background in Tai Chi and her life as a musician.
The Process of Undoing
This hands-on approach invites you to inhabit your body more fully, gently unwinding habitual and unhelpful movement patterns along the way. As you move toward a pose or asana, attention is brought to the spine, the bones, and how the body relates to gravity.
We practice yielding to gravity and growing up and away from it, creating the conditions for freeing the spine. Rather than fixing or holding a pose, which can create more tension, we explore rhythmic movement, keeping the body responsive and at ease.
Small details, like the contact of a heel, toe, or the full foot, become sources of support and insight. With steady attention, space and ease are rediscovered within the body, tension softens, and a sense of grounding flows naturally into lightness.
