We’re thrilled to offer our Kids Taiko classes for ages 6–12!
Boulder Taiko will be providing an engaging and enriching experience in the world of Taiko drumming for our young participants in 2025.

​Kids Taiko Summer Course Overview

Ages: 6–12
-
Schedule: Fridays, June 6 – August 22 (12 classes)

Time: 4:15–5:30 pm (please arrive by 4 pm)

Full Summer Enrollment: $85 per month, autopay for 3 months ($21.25 per class)

5-Class Punch Card: $125 ($25 per class)

Drop-In: $35 per class. Select the date you want to attend on the One Dojo calendar, choose the drop-in rate. If your child decides to join the full course after a drop-in, the drop-in fee will be applied toward the course tuition.

Kids Taiko Course Description
Embark on a Taiko Journey with our Kids Taiko Course!
This fun and engaging course is for kids ages 6-12 and includes stretching, learning Japanese, a snack break, fun ball games, and of course, Taiko drumming!
Led by experienced instructor from Japan, Julia Misawa, this course offers a dynamic blend of rhythm, movement, and cultural exploration.​
​
Throughout the program, participants will learn fundamental Taiko drumming techniques, including stance, striking, rhythm patterns, and a new song(s), all while fostering teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Each session is crafted to engage young learners and inspire a lifelong appreciation for music and Japanese culture.
